The Miracle Mile:
A 1-Mile Race on Ali'i Drive

In connection with the 41st Annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, the Big Island Running Company is proud to present the Miracle Mile, a 1-mile road race.

When: Friday, November 11, 2011; race begins promptly at 4:30 P.M.

Where: The race runs part of the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival Parade Route, beginning and ending at the Coconut Grove Marketplace on Alii Drive. Post-race refreshments and awards will follow at Coconut Grove Marketplace.

Awards: Awards will be given for the following: top 3 overall male and female finishers and top 3 finishers in each age division (10 and under; 11-17; 18-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70+).

Cost: $10 per entrant prior to race day; $15 per entrant on race day. Proceeds benefit our local Team in Training in their efforts to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

How to register: Pre-registration can be done by mail or in person at Big Island Running Company. For mail-in pre-registration, please make checks payable to Big Island Running Company and mail forms and payments to Big Island Running Company, 75-5807 Alii Dr. #C-8, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740. Race day registration will begin at 3:00 P.M. and end promptly at 4:15 P.M. Registration form is available here.

Additional Information: All participants must finish the race within 15 minutes of the race starting. This time limit is necessary to prevent interference with the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival parade and will be strictly enforced.
